My dear friend Jennifer is 8 weeks away from having a baby girl. We threw her a tea party baby shower at the El Encanto hotel on a beautiful day in Santa Barbara. The color palette was pink and gold glitter. Flowers were in gold glitter vases with a beautiful arrangements of pink peonies and sahara roses by Gina Kosmo of White House Florist. Pink, white and gold glitter polka dots elegantly decorated the tables. Place cards also had the pink and gold glitter polka dot theme with Jen’s reading “Mom to Be”. Her chair also was adorned with a “Mommy to be” special tag.
Welcome and pink cocktails of rose’ and rose’ champagne where served on the terrace. All the guests then came inside to the Fireside room for a choice of teas and delicious savory and sweet tea treats. Everyone filled out a card with some advice for the new mom. Parting gifts were OPI nail polish appropriately named “It’s a Girl!”. We wish Jen all the love that a new baby brings.
